About Walker's

In 1935, Leon C. Walker started a feed business, and, as farmers requested more dairy supply items, Walker’s filled that need, from the back porch of his son’s house in Fort Ann, NY. Later his son, Leon R. Walker, opened a small store in their feed mill. Today, the business is run by Amy Walker-Bailey, a third generation Walker;  and has two store locations, one in Fort Ann, NY and the other in St.Albans, VT, the Fort Ann store having 80,000 sq. feet of inside and outside inventory. Of course, Walker’s still carries dairy supplies; but, along with serving the needs of the farmer, Walker’s has greatly expanded its lines to cater to the homeowner, the horse owner, the large or small animal lover, and anyone who’s looking for a unique shopping experience. Customers from New York and Vermont know Walker’s for its wide selection of brand name merchandise, including:

Walker’s carries everything from Adapters to Zimectrin, plus nearly everything in-between. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff is always ready to answer questions or place a special order for the hard-to-fit customer. Walker’s has truly become a destination shopping place.

For customers who live too far away to visit, our web site provides a very small Walker’s shopping experience.
